About Jarrod
Jarrod Ferguson has built a volleyball career defined by leadership and high-level experience. A graduate of Westlake Boys High School, he played a key role in securing the 2016 NZSS National Championship and captained the team in 2017. Alongside his volleyball success, he was also a two-year member of the school's 2nd XV rugby team.
His pathway took him to the University of Mount Olive, where he competed in the NCAA Division I Conference Carolinas while completing a degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Sports Psychology. During his time there, he helped his team win the Conference Carolinas Regular Season Championship in 2021 and was named to multiple All-Conference and All-Tournament teams. Following his playing career, he transitioned into coaching, serving as a Graduate Assistant for the University of Nebraska's NCAA DI Women’s Volleyball Team, helping the team reach the 2023 National Championship Final.
Now coaching full-time at ATHENAVB in the U.S., Jarrod continues to shape the next generation of athletes, using his playing and coaching experience to guide young players to success.
