Louie Hadfield has built a strong volleyball career both in New Zealand and overseas, making a name for himself as a dynamic outside hitter. A graduate of Nelson College, he was a key player in the school’s volleyball program before taking his talents to the United States.

His collegiate journey led him to University of Mount Olive (NCAA Division I/II, Conference Carolinas), where he competed at a high level while studying Business Management. During his time at Mount Olive, he helped his team secure back-to-back Conference Carolina runner-up finishes in 2021 and 2022.

Louie has also been heavily involved in club volleyball, representing Shirley Volleyball Club and winning a New Zealand National Championship in 2018. His career later took him to Australia, where he played for Brisbane Bears Volleyball Club, helping his team win the Queensland Premier Volleyball League Championship in 2023.

With experience across multiple countries and leagues, Louie continues to develop his skills while contributing to the growth of volleyball in New Zealand.
