Nick Leary has built a strong career as a middle blocker, competing both in New Zealand and the United States. A former student at Riccarton High School, he served as Prefect and Head of Sport in 2013 while excelling in volleyball.

His pathway took him to the U.S., where he played for Barton College (NCAA Division I/II) while completing a degree in Accounting, Business Administration, and Sports Management. During his collegiate career, he was named to the All-Conference Honour Roll for six consecutive semesters and helped his team achieve a 6th-place finish.

Nick has also represented New Zealand on the international stage, playing for the Junior National U17, U19, and U21 teams from 2011-2014, competing in Australia, the USA, Myanmar, and Bahrain. With extensive experience at both the club and national levels, he continues to contribute to the sport while applying his expertise in business and sports management.
