About Pippa
Pippa Henderson has built a strong volleyball career, excelling as a dominant middle blocker at both the collegiate and international levels. A former student at St. Andrew’s College, she played a key role in her school’s volleyball programme while balancing academic success.
She began her collegiate journey at Navarro College (NJCAA Division I, Region 14), where she helped lead the team to a Conference Championship and a 3rd-place finish at NJCAA Nationals in 2023. After a successful season, she returned to Aotearoa to study Neuroscience and Psychology at the University of Otago, where she was awarded the prestigious Otago Performance Entrance Scholarship in 2024.
Internationally, Pippa has been a key part of New Zealand volleyball, representing the Junior National Team (2020-2024) and the Volley Ferns (2023-2024). She competed at the 2024 Asian Championships in China and contributed to the team’s victory over Australia to claim the Jenny Kirk Trophy in 2022.
With experience at the collegiate and national levels, Pippa continues to push her game forward while making an impact in the Aotearoa volleyball community.
