Sarah Stratton has made a name for herself as a standout middle blocker, excelling at both the national and international levels. A product of Bethlehem College, she captained her high school team in 2019 and earned a spot on the NZSS Nationals Tournament Team.

Her talent led her to represent New Zealand on multiple occasions, competing as captain of the U17 Indoor National Team at the 2017 Asian Championships and as part of the U17 NZ Beach Team that same year. She later played for both the NZ U19 Indoor Team and NZ U19 Beach Team in 2019. Most recently, she was as a member of the Volley Ferns Squad in 2024.

Her collegiate career in the United States began at Daytona State College (NJCAA D1) from 2020-21 before transferring to Virginia Commonwealth University (NCAA D1, A-10 Conference) for the 2022-23 season. She then pursued graduate studies in Data Analytics in Healthcare while competing for Marshall University (NCAA D1, Sun Belt Conference) in 2024.

Sarah’s commitment extends beyond the court, achieving NCEA Excellence endorsements in high school and earning Dean’s/President’s List honours throughout her U.S. college career.
